I was a bit hesitant about this project as I wanted to make the words connect further down the line in the project but then remembered that I should not think about my end result and just think about the words that I should choose. So I researched the words further and found that I really like 'Alice in Wonderland', 'The corner shop' and 'utility'. These words contradict each other, which make the project interesting when researching furthermore into it but makes it more difficult as they do not link. Created a mind map to write down all my thoughts but placed notes with hypocritical questions to help with research and what the next step would be. From that I researched images, films and information that link to the idea I want to carry on forward. Visited galleries and museums for primary research and they were not as useful for my research but I found some shapes the helped represent the utility part of my project but anything relating to fantasy or rabbits there was not so much of apart from the internet. I found that it was not as useful as only I found one exhibition that was showing about Alice in Wonderland but it was more about the illustrations but looking more in depth it shows that its not a very childlike story as there is drugs inscribed but make it child friendly in some way.
To help my idea develop on the psychological side of fantasy I created collages represent the fun side of alice and stories told but the crazy and mad side by the portion of the shapes. Which made me evaluate what the most common animal is comfort to children and that was a rabbit, so I went further on with the research and looked into rabbits that were a key participation in; films, stories, etc.
I continued researching for any more ideas on how I could move on forward.
